Talent Management
CoreAxis' holistic expertise in business and organizational strategy
allows us to address the full range of talent management issues you encounter
with your employees. We have particular expertise in competency modeling,
performance management and succession planning.
Competency Modeling
Understanding of the knowledge, skills and behaviors
of individuals who succeed in a given job, role or function is a fundamental
building block of an informed talent management program. Our experienced
consultants will assist you in:
- Developing a point of view of the specific knowledge, skills and
behaviors required in job families or functions in your organization.
- Identifying those characteristics that drive outstanding performance
in a job, role or function.
- Creating a competency framework that identifies foundational and
leading edge competencies for jobs, roles and functions at different
points in a career trajectory
- Linking your competency model to relevant talent management processes,
including recruiting and selection, performance management and succession
planning.
Performance Management
CoreAxis can assist you to review and enhance
your approach to performance management to ensure alignment with your
business strategy. Our approach ensures:
- Effective performance planning that links the work of individual
employees to the organization's mission and objectives
- Establishment and communication of clear performance expectations
to all employees
- A thorough and appropriate performance measurement approach, incorporating
measures that give a complete and informative picture of relative performance
- Integration with compensation, benefits, IT and other relevant stakeholders
- An flexible performance feedback process that ensures consistent
communication, regular check-in discussions and clear links to follow-on
services for employee development, including training and coaching
as needed
Succession Planning
In partnership with CoreAxis Talent Services, we can conduct a comprehensive
review of your leadership development practices and processes to ensure
that your approach truly supports development of the next generation
of leadership talent. By creating a succession plan, organizations
are better able to maintain internal stability, encourage broad participation
in leadership and realize the tangible benefits of the investment in
training and development. Our approach to succession planning will
ensure:
- An effective process for identifying potential successors (one and
two steps removed from current leadership roles), as a "bench" to support
existing senior leaders when they depart and
- Ensure identified successors are ready to step into senior roles,
by devising training and development programs — including action learning,
mentoring, job rotation, high-potential development programs and leadership
coaching — that meet their specific needs.
We are based in Boston, Massachusetts
and provide consulting services throughout the New England,
Northeast, and New York region.
