- Create systems – by offering your employees a way to bring their ideas forward, not only do you show them that you respect their thoughts, but you’re also likely to turn many of these (potentially great) ideas into action. - Recognize employees – when employees feel appreciated and valued, they are much more likely to excel at their jobs. You can celebrate accomplishments, organize fun activities or regular gatherings, or offer career development opportunities to keep employees engaged and feeling valued.
- Integrate branding – does your onboarding process include an overview of your brand? Employees are always extremely excited on their first day, and when better to build momentum and engagement then this initial introduction to the company?
- Lead by Example – actions speak louder than words. The truth is that people don’t care until they know you care, so you need to move from saying to doing, and embody the values you are aiming to inspire among employees.
